AUTOBIOGRAPHY:

I am Diego Daniel Casas Uscanga, I was born on January 24, 2008 in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz; My parents are Miriam Uscanga Montiel and Wilfrido Joaquín Casas López, I have an older brother named Pablo Uriel.

My life has been very blessed thanks to God.

My academic training has been great, I studied at the “Benjamín Rodríguez Sagrero” preschool where I learned to tie my shoelaces and also to eat all kinds of fruits and vegetables. I then attended the “Constitution of 1917” primary school, in which for 6 years I was in first place due to the best grade. Afterwards I studied at “Industrial Technique No. 19” high school, and I also made the honor roll for all 3 years, thanks to my effort, time and dedication.

On the sporting side, things went well for me, since I played baseball and I had the opportunity to represent the Coatzacoalcos team in several states of the Republic. One of the most important events was my participation in the Nacional de Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas (2016), since it was the first team representing Coatzacoalcos.

My favorite tastes that I have always had in food are snacks, seafood, stews and typical sweets; in sports it is Baseball and American Football; and one of the best pleasures is getting to know people and places with little technology.

Time passed and within me I felt that something was missing and in a very simple way I received an invitation from the Lord to begin to know him and treat him; And thanks to that experience I want to follow the vocation that the Lord offers me, and for this reason I am now in the Mary Mother of the Church Minor Seminary. Currently, I entered the Villa del Espíritu Santo Institute 4 weeks ago to finish completing high school where I am learning human and spiritual formation.

Finally, I want to say that my goal is to prepare myself very well to continue walking alongside Jesus.

“You must empty yourself of that with which you are full, so that you can be filled with that of which you are empty” Saint Augustine.

This new semester has been a great opportunity to move forward in my vocation.

I knew and lived the objective that the high school has for me and also the seminar, it is very helpful since I received my basement and I have a greater responsibility that I must demonstrate my knowledge and be available for any action that is requested and that can help.

I would rate myself a 9 this semester since I came different from the holidays and was sick, thank God I have recovered and I am looking forward to being able to finish high school peacefully.

This year I propose to come out first in achievement and with a good grade better than the previous semester, I want to be left without any pending this first cut that is going to pass.

I want to tell you that one of my joys that is happening to me this year is that my older brother is also responding to the call that God is giving him, baseball is a gift that God is giving to my brother and of course I am totally happy and I am praying for him so that he does not doubt that vocation and continues to trust in God.

On the other hand, my parents have accepted the vocations that each of their children have and they totally agree; they are supporting us both in prayer and in their willingness to listen to us and advise us.

My parents go to Church more often and are converting little by little, I trust in the Lord who will continue to care for them and protect them from all evils.
