Purpose of the cut:
At the end of the unit, the student will be able to express situations that began in the past and continue into the present and others that began in the past before another action occurred; they will differentiate the meaning between common verbs and compound verbs and the use of the gerund and the infinitive in texts that contain two verbs in succession.

REFLECTION:
This topic helped me understand how to express past experiences and actions that continue in the present. I also learned to differentiate verb tenses and use phrasal verbs correctly, which improves my communication skills in English. I believe this knowledge helps me speak and write with more clarity and confidence.
SELF-ASSESSMENT
During this period, I believe I have worked responsibly and diligently. I have completed my assignments and tried my best in every subject. I recognize that at times I need to better organize my time and concentrate, but I am committed to continuing to improve. I feel I have grown not only academically, but also in discipline and commitment.
IMPROVEMENT PLAN:
I intend to better organize my study schedule, avoid distractions, and review the topics I find difficult. I also want to participate more in class and not leave assignments until the last minute. My goal is to continue improving and perform better next term.
